Software Update for WeTab delivers multi-touch support
The WeTab GmbH has a first big firmware update published for their same Tablet PC. Version 2.0 brings include multi-touch support for browsers, media gallery and Virtual Earth. Furthermore, in some applications, the operation has improved the touch screen, roughly as large buttons OpenOffice.

HDMI transmission to function after the update in all resolutions including audio. Full-screen programs can now by pressing the power button to quit. The operation of the mail program, the developers have improved as well.
Problems in the detection of Bluetooth devices are now a thing of the past. GPS on the 3G model was released for applications, so that they can use it for positioning. Users now have a wider choice of providers. Also minor improvements of the overall system – for example, when booting any more messages displayed.
The update will install automatically if the WeTab over WLAN is connected to the Internet.
"We have received in recent weeks a lot of feedback from our customers and worked hard on the major points," says Tore Meyer, after the Resignation of Helmut Hoffer anchor of hope October sole manager of the WeTab Inc. Additional updates will follow continuously in the coming weeks."
Since the market launch on 19 September, harvested from the WeTab industry observers much criticism. Many of the announced features were missing or were still immature.

Even the Presentation of the Tablets became a fiasco: The demonstration model was used - as otherwise specified by the manufacturer - under Windows 7 instead of Android. Shortly before the launch of the manufacturer changed the operating system again - Ubuntu on MeeGo.
